October - November
The failing wooden wall was 251 linear feet long on the lower section, and 185 feet long on the upper. The wall was replaced with Anchor Diamond blocks in dessert tan color. The wall required three truck loads of blocks and approximately 75 tons of stone back-fill. The newly constructed wall is over 250 feet long and consumed 1000 square feet of retaining wall blocks. The removal of the old wall and installation of the new took about seven weeks.
Thank you to the administrators, residents, and staff of the ABCCC. And many thanks to the donors who made the project possible.
